The History

of World Meet unfolds as a captivating narrative, tracing the evolution of a modest martial arts event into a global phenomenon that transcends borders and fosters international unity. Conceived as a visionary idea by Director M.A. Ali, this extraordinary journey has unfolded across multiple editions, each marked by an increasing global resonance.

The inaugural World Meet, held in 2019, was a humble gathering with only a few countries participating. However, even in its nascent stage, the event showcased the potential for martial arts to serve as a conduit for cultural exchange and mutual understanding. Director M.A. Ali's brainchild began to take root, sowing the seeds for a transformative journey.

The 2nd World Meet in 2022 marked a pivotal moment in the event's history. As word spread about the unique blend of martial arts excellence and diplomatic harmony, more countries and participants joined the global celebration. Director M.A. Ali's vision was gaining traction, and the event became a symbolic bridge, connecting diverse cultures through the common language of martial arts.

The 3rd World Meet in 2023 was a milestone, attracting participants from 32 countries. The Royal Rattnakoshin Hotel in Bangkok became a melting pot of international camaraderie, with dignitaries like His Majesty Drs. R.H Sany Waijaya Nataksuma SH gracing the occasion. Notable personalities, including Ayesha Noor, were honored, elevating the event to a grand spectacle.

Now, as World Meet gears up for its 4th edition in 2024, the anticipation is higher than ever. Organized by the esteemed World Martial Artist Council, this year's event is poised to be a culmination of years of dedication and global recognition. With expectations of over 50 countries participating, the event underscores its universal appeal and impact on a global scale.

The recognition of Aamir Edresy, the founder of AMP, with international awards adds a layer of significance to World Meet 2024. The event continues to transcend its martial arts roots, becoming a platform that honors individuals contributing positively to society on a global level.

Scheduled to unfold at the iconic Royal Rattnakoshin Hotel on May 8, World Meet 2024 promises to be a landmark in the annals of martial arts history. The legacy of World Meet echoes not only the celebration of martial excellence but also the promotion of global harmony and cultural understanding. As we look ahead, the saga of World Meet invites individuals from diverse backgrounds to converge in the spirit of unity, making this international celebration a true testament to the power of martial arts in fostering a harmonious world.

In an era marked by division and challenges, M.A Ali emerges as a powerful force for positive transformation. Renowned as the World-famous karate instructor, specialist, champion, and philosopher. M.A Ali impact extends far beyond the martial arts arena.

As the Director of the World Martial Artist Council M.A Ali has organized influential global events, including the World Meet 20219, 2022 & 2023 and Universal Peace Rally Kolkata, demonstrating his commitment to fostering unity and peace worldwide. His extraordinary dedication shines through in the initiative to train underprivileged girls, providing them with the tools to combat crime and empower themselves.

Global recognition follows M.A Ali, exemplified by the Gender Equality Award bestowed upon him by the Government of the USA at the American Center in New Delhi in 2017. His extensive martial arts qualifications, including a 10th Dan Black Belt and a 2nd Dan in Jujitsu from Thailand, underscore his expertise and influence as an educator. Ali’s legacy extends to founding Bygrah Kan Karate International, directing the Asia Cup Karate Championship, and initiating the Upwards Achievers Awards. His lifelong commitment to spreading the message of peace, goodwill, and love has left an indelible mark on cultures worldwide. Starting his journey at the age of 3, learning Indian martial arts and joining a karate school at 5, M.A Ali' s story is one of resilience, leadership, and a dedication to positive change. As the world eagerly anticipates his next endeavors, Ali's life stands as a testament to the profound impact one individual can have on shaping a more harmonious global community.

H.E Jurapas P President

Jurapas Pitaksethakarn, hailing from Bangkok, Thailand, is a versatile and influential figure with a global footprint. As a member of Union Arab Intellectuals Europe, United Nexus Organization, and Association Crist Prom DDHA, Jurapas actively engages in intellectual exchange and social development.

Her contributions extend to the Advisory Board at Sanghakaya Foundation, showcasing her strategic insights. Jurapas collaborates with MJ Group Consultants Co. Ltd. (Thailand), displaying her adaptability across diverse fields.

Notable leadership roles include Chairwoman at MJ Group Entertainment Co. Ltd., International President at M&J Solutions Co. Ltd. (Japan), and Chairwoman at ERP Trading Co., Ltd. (Norway). She serves as the Goodwill Ambassador of SUNFO and is the President of the International Interchange Development Association-IIDA and Pinco World Thailand Co. Ltd. Additionally, she is the Founder/President of the Material Construction Company.

An accolade that underscores her global impact is being declared the Woman Leader Beauty Queen of Korea, coupled with winning the Korea Woman Leader Award in 2017. Jurapas Pitaksethakarn's visionary leadership was evident as the President of World Meet 2023, contributing to the event's success and global recognition. Her endeavors reflect a commitment to community empowerment, international collaboration, and a lasting influence on the world stage.

Jun ShindoVice President

Jun Shindo stands as a distinguished IT entrepreneur and dedicated social worker, demonstrating a profound commitment to social welfare and human rights on a global scale. With a vast spectrum of experience spanning multiple nations, including the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia, Jun has consistently contributed to poverty eradication, violence prevention, and the promotion of peace.

In his role as the Japan Branch President of the International Development Cooperation Organization (IDCO) from 2021 to 2023, Jun championed human rights and social welfare initiatives, solidifying his reputation as a dedicated social worker. His leadership as the Japan Branch President of SPMUDA from 2017 to 2019 further emphasized his commitment to human rights advocacy and social empowerment.

As the Vice President of World Meet 2023, Jun actively promoted cultural and sports exchanges, aligning with his focus on human rights and contributing significantly to global peace and understanding.

Among his key achievements, Jun facilitated the donation of emergency relief bags to 800 individuals in Indonesia, addressing impoverished communities and highlighting his unwavering dedication to human rights. Additionally, he orchestrated the donation of 300 computers to the Philippines, leveraging technology to advocate for human rights and digital access. His compassionate approach as a social worker is further evident in his organization of hospital visits and wheelchair donations, exemplifying Jun Shindo's impactful contributions to society and underscoring his commitment to the betterment of human welfare.

Tony Taylor Vice President

Tony Taylor, a multifaceted individual driven by a passion for humanity and global goodwill, embarked on a journey that transcended boundaries and garnered him national and international acclaim. Beyond his initial endeavors, Tony expanded his horizons, assuming the role of an Ambassador dedicated to uplifting humanity.

His commitment found a new avenue as he ventured into Publicity TV Anchorman work for a non-profit organization, led by Princess Maria Amor. His exceptional performance caught the eye of Princess Maria Amor, leading to his promotion as the Red Carpet host at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City. Breaking borders and gaining national and international recognition became Tony's hallmark. His remarkable achievements include winning titles and awards in Hollywood in 2017 and 2018. His prowess was acknowledged by Her Highness Imperial Majesty Elham Madani, adding to his accolades.

Tony's journey extended to India, where he made history by winning the #1 Best Short Film for "Respect Her," a Bollywood project written, produced, and directed by Neha Bansal. Shahid Mehmood, a luminary hailing from the United Kingdom, emerges as a distinguished figure with multifaceted contributions spanning media, martial arts, and international events. As the Director and Founder of A1 Global TV, he has carved a niche in the media landscape, establishing the platform as a prominent global player. A1 Global TV, a media partner for significant events, showcases Shahid's commitment to fostering global communication and awareness. .

Beyond his media endeavors, Shahid Mehmood holds the pivotal position of General Secretary for World Meet 2024, a testament to his leadership acumen and dedication to the martial arts community. With an impressive 6th Level Dan Black Belt in Karate, Shahid's martial prowess reflects not only his physical discipline but also his commitment to promoting the spirit of martial arts on a global scale. .

Shahid's role as General Secretary positions him at the forefront of organizing and coordinating the prestigious event, ensuring its success and global impact. His diverse skill set, encompassing media leadership and martial arts proficiency, underscores his ability to bridge different domains, making him a notable figure contributing to the success and global resonance of World Meet events. Shahid Mehmood's influence extends beyond borders, exemplifying a commitment to excellence and unity through martial arts on the world stage.
